    3 point leaking fluid

    while using my 530 today notice Hydrolic Fluid coming out of the rockshaft for the draft arm of the 3 point. now the arms won't stay up after the engine is shut off, I figure the Rockshaft cylinder has blown the seals. My question is how hard are these to replace and what else should I look at...

    I have never seen a planter with check wire. what was the wire used for?

    The lock pin goes completely across the adjusting plug. with that removed you should be able to unscreww the plug. I was able to use a scewdriver to remove it. Hope this helps. Sorry I am late posting was out of town for a few days Darryl

    I don't have a scanner or I'd scan a picture from the manual for you. Maybe someone else on here has a picture the could scan.What is wrong with the cylinders? Darryl

    There should be a wire lock pin the in front of the cylinder by the grease fitting. take that out and unscrew the adjusting plug and then the front should drop off the ball stud. remove the nut off the back and the cylinder should be able to be removed. Hope this helps . Darryl
