New farmer, my wife and I recently purchased a 75 acre farm that has long been leased out. The buildings and barn need work and we are bringing it all back to life. We both work regular jobs and have 20 plus years each in the Army NG. We don't life on the farm yet, the farm house is rented to a older couple that take good care of it as we catch up on some deffered maintence items. Looking forward to challenges ahead as we both have farming in our blood, it just skipped a generation. My family has a 1,000 acre farm in Idaho at the base of the Grand Tetons. Hers in Maryland, ironicallly my family rented the old farm house on her familys then old farm, so really small world when we made that connection.
