    2290 transmission

    Found this on top of the c3 spool valve, valve could not close all of the way. Works great now. Any idea where it came from. Thanks for the advice it is greatly appreciated.

    I have a 12 speed 2290, Stalls in reverse and lugs in first ps. Seems to work great in 2nd and 3rd. Hooked a gauge and c3 had 20 psi in reverse and 1st. Cleaned c1-c4 spool valves, and cleaned c3 twice, still no change. If i understand correctly, should have no pressure on c3 in reverse and...

    I have been having this problem for a month or two, maybe every two or three days it would die, when i go to check it it works fine. Hate to drive it on the road and die. thanks

    I figured it out. Found a heavy gauge wire under the hood above the back of the motor, had a bad connection, all is well.

    I Have a 4020 side console not sure on year. It is a 12v negative ground diesel powershift, and it is green if that helps. haha The problem I am having is it dies at random times.     Rebuild kit for 335 mnpls moline

    i bought one 6 month ago for my 335 moline at advanced auto parts worked great. part number was 96-448 Gp Sorensen was the brand. I think you can get them at auto Zone to, had to specal order. hope it helps.
