    Since I can't edit my post.... They have figured out mass production on a massive scale, but with a lot of that stuff, they haven't figured out quality control. I don't have a Chinese tractor, never will. Don't know the quality of Mahindras, but maybe some of their methods will rub off.

    Buy disposable. That's the mantra these days. Like Aharbor Freight. Too many people want a lot of product for cheap.

    who are the carb rebuiders

    Royse did my carb. Perfect. Bolted it on and she fired right up. Hardly needed any fine tuning. Highly recommended.

    interesting....I noticed the last vehicle listed in the ad is the Willys Jeep. An interesting modification for all those surplus jeeps after WW2. You might want to look around from that angle, maybe the jeep mounts were the same as for the tractors. You might have some luck finding more parts...

    Nicely done! Glad my old girl could help your old girl get moving again. I've actually been thinking about switching out my step up for a step down. I like the cable shift so I'll probably keep it that way. Post more pictures!

    I'm in central coast CA so fog and rain are good. Southern CA is still a crispy wasteland. I lived in San Diego for 7 years and had to move vie for my wife's medical treatments. Moved to a place and could finally get my tractor after years of wanting one. Warmer days are coming!
