Saskatawan is in Canada? I'm sorry for being a dummy? At any rate, wished I was closer. Good luck, Chance.

What Farmall (International) model will fill my needs?

I'm not familiar with all the models either chappie, and I feel your pain in regards to the pto and the liftall aswell. I've got the 3-point on mine....I'm gonna upgrade to a live engine run hydro pump and levers for mine. As for pto, I'll use my other tractor for equipment that I don't wanna...

    Carb talk

That part is not on my old carb....and yes it is an M. That is what the guy said....I'm gonna ask him to explain more. It is Dans carburetor out in California. I believe he is a member here aswell. And, I could be mistaken, maybe it is the actual idle passage/port?

    Carb talk

Why would someone drill out the idle needle seat? I talked to the guy that I got the new carb from. Told him my prob with my old carb. He said someone likely drilled it out, that is why I can't get it to stop running with rich idle but to high end is fine. I hadn't replied back and asked him why...

the 400 - little more info

I about lost a finger puttin my hand up to the intake and I wasnt at 3/4 throttle, haha....why can't he use the choke to do that? He should be able to see what is in the sed bowl without doing that, right?

    My liftall saga

The shaft/coupling looked great...no apparent groove/nicks etc. For learning purpose, explain it to me rusty. I assumed cuz that shaft is directly into the pump it was holding something. So there must be an internal pump seal right?

    13.6 x 38 on 9 inch rims??

Lol, Andy is right. The wheels on my M where rusted all to heck....I don't even need a gauge to check the air....I can see it....haha. But yeah. I patched a few holes around the stem area, blasted ALL the rust pits out, and painted. They should give me years of service even though I know there...

    1930 Farmall Regular wont run

I'd go with the brass float Flem, and disassemble the carb. Use torch tip cleaners and clean every port, jet, hole you can find. Blow out with carb cleaner and air. That should get you going. And yeah, put the spring on. You'll be changing tune constantly when running it. Chance

    My liftall saga

Thx Andy...I'll use heavier oil as i refill it over time.

    1930 Farmall Regular wont run

Yeah, you are running lean. The main is obstructed. I'm not familiar with that carb either, but old iron says it has the stem like my m does. Mine was clogged there. Good luck. Let us know. Chance

    My liftall saga

Ok, I put a new seal in my liftall and new gasket. Had no leak. Used my tiller for a bit then swapped to an 8ft 3 point disc. It's a heavy unit. On my cross cut I had to lift it a lot as the area i was discing was narrow. I got done took tractor back to shop. I now have a leak again. These old...

    My finished M...

Yeah, I'm pushing 5k on this tractor...more than I wanted but I opted for the new 3 point over the poorly homemade unit that was on it. It is completely restored. As of today, all seals have been replaced.. Replaced my liftall and tranny front shaft and countershaft seals....no more leaks at...

Another one saved from the scrap yard.

Wow, battery box is even there... I gave 600 for mine and it was trashed. Great deal!!
