    Massey 50 sheetmetal

Check ebay for the tin I would say its worth anywhere from $2000-$3500, that"s just an estimate. Most people have more money invested in their tractor that totals to be more than it is actually worth.

    Arps Half Tracks

I know alot of people are interested in the half tracs used along time ago. There is a set on ebay, that a seller did not list right. So here is the link in case anyone is interested: http://cgi.ebay.com/antique-tractor-/250825089342?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6657213e

    MF 135 Flywheel Timing plug

Instead of getting the plug from massey parts, measure the hole, it may be possible and cheaper to use a electrical mulbury cover

201 Loader on MF50 broke chain case for auxiliary pump

I think you would be able to get it welded, however it would need a deep penetrating between the broken areas so that it doesn't happen again, and the bolt threads would possible have to be cleaned up if re-welded together. Btw, I happen to like the low profile design of it. Best of luck getting...

201 Loader on MF50 broke chain case for auxiliary pump

Can you post pictures, I would be interested in seeing your setup, and with pictures, we would be able to evaluate what should possibly be done. Goodluck, Charles

    Changing fluids in 65 massey

I have a MF50 gas, I run Rotella 15w-40 for oil, but I have a spin on filter. For coolant, I would run a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze, maybe more or less depending on where you live. The hydraulic oil will probably be 80W mineral oil for winter, and 90W mineral oil for Summer.

Anyone have a Wiring Diagram for MF50?

I am in the process of rewiring my MF50, the fair grounds who owned it from the time it was new rewired it and added amber signals, because of this the mess of wires is sometimes faulty. Does anyone have a wiring schematic or diagram you could post a picture of? Thanks, Charles

    clutch grinding after adjustment

Thanks, believe me I would love to completely strip the tractor down to the bare block, the problem is, I need to use the tractor to pull wagons, brush hog occasionally, and for plowing in the up coming week. So, I wont be able to take the whole thing apart. I am going to work on it a little at...

    clutch grinding after adjustment

When I inherited the tractor, it has both a shop and parts manual, no operators manual.. go figure. Funny thing is I have the whole front half of the tractor apart right now. The fair grounds that owned the tractor before my dad picked it up and then gave it to my grandfather decided somewhere...

    clutch grinding after adjustment

Does the old clutch have oil on it? And it looks like the new clutch's rivets are more recessed so that they don't meet the same fate. How hard is it to do the clutch job, the thing that worries me is that I don't know if there are any seal leaks into the bell-housing, judging from the drain...

    clutch grinding after adjustment

I wouldn"t be surprised if you were right, to my knowledge, it was only previously used to pull wagons around at a county fair ground. And the fact that the clutch only grinds when fully depressed is okay for me right now anyways because it doesn"t get used for brush hogging anymore anyways, it...

    TO-35 Mis-firing

I would check the gap of the points it should be .022 and the spark plug gap should be .025... Btw do NOT use champion spark plugs, they may cause your engine to run rough, I was told this from a Massey mechanic of 25+ years. I replaced the autolites with a set of Bosch super 7549 and it runs...

    clutch grinding after adjustment

I recently adjusted the clutch petal on my MF50 according to the service manual, and the recommendations from people on here. When adjusted with the 3/8" pedal travel before encountering resistance, it grinds when pushed all of way down. It has a dual stage clutch, does this mean that the clutch...

    MF 50 Clutch adjustment

I know how you feel I am only 19, my dad bought the tractor to do some landscaping, and then gave it to my grandfather some 20+ years ago. I inherited it last May when my grandfather past away, but I originally started to work on it in 2008.
