Barley Per Acre?
I seed 2 row at around 2.25 bu/acre and 6 row around 1.8bu/acre "here". I'm sure its different else where.- Chase_99

New Holland 1049 engine swap
I have a Super 1049 that we've had since it was new in back in 1975! It has the 361 in it too and so far the old girl still runs fine. Milwaukee Fuel 18volt cordless impact- Impressive!
Yes for sure if you already have a certain color of tool most will just add to it as its so much less $$$ if you already have all the batteries and chargers etc. -

Thats the main reason I bought to put a zip disc to cut stuff out in the yard and yeah no pad lock will last if you have one of these tools around!! I've used it some for grinding and its not bad for that either. I have 4 small angle grinders with different attachements by the welding bench... -

Totally OT, but I have to vent somewhere
NOt sure how your cemetary is set up but the one we use has a fence around it with a gate. So if people were doing that there it would not go over well!- Chase_99

Equipment dealer Rant!!!!
Friend is doing a rebuild on a front end MFD on an older white say 80hp tractor. I think he found the parts from AGCO, some aftermarket but finally got them all in the end but it took a while. He says its not just AGCO all companies JD, CAT, Case etc unless its a common wear item certain odd...- Chase_99

An example of getting in too deep.
Just curious what are we talking in terms of "big bucks" as those things are pretty cheap on parts unless you're factoring in paying some dealer 120/hr to fix it. Then yeah its probably not worth it especially if you're wanting an upgrade anyway. As for a Valtra vs an old Belarus well yeah 2...- Chase_99

Hmm well one gets frusterated with poor service at dealers and no it doesn't help to get mad at staff as its pointles. Not to mention this time of year the dealers are in the slow time of year. If it was during harvest when they get a zillion calls a day thats different. Dealers don't pay...- Chase_99

Yes I would agree if a tractor is just for general work why does it need the latestest and greatest hydraulics, auto steering, and god knows what else they put in them new Fendts and such. IF yourself or say with bigger farms that may have a mechanic on staff who can do the repairs on farm...- Chase_99
