1952 John Deere Model 60 Crankshaft
Hello all. I have a 1952 John Deere 60 that I'm having some crankshaft troubles with and would like some advice/ opinions on the next steps of having it fixed or replacing or running it the way it is. There is what looks like 2 cracks on the radiuses of the journal on the clutch side. They are...- Chris4752

John Deere 2 Cylinder Restoration
Yes, I did do that just didn’t mention it in the post. Rebuilt all steering. Rebuilt the whole fan shaft cause it was leaking. Rebuilt transmission. Everything pretty much has new gaskets on it. Some stuff in the rear of tractor I didn’t put new gaskets on but there was no apparent leaks- Chris4752

Thank you for the reply. What plant do you recommend? I don’t mind spending extra money for better plaint. I just thought the John Deere paint would be the way to go. Thanks- Chris4752
