    Well, nobody can claim I'm not trying. :ROFLMAO: Spent the last 2 1/2 hour working on this. Got the drive tires jacked up 7 1/2" off the ground. Still can't get this pump to go forward and sit on that ledge..........or straddle that part it's supposed to go over. "So close yet so far"...

    Just went out to my bench to take a chamber off and measure the gasket............................but turns out I didn't have to. A bit was extending out that was big enough to let me measure it with my dial caliper. It measured .019". But keep in mind that was a piece that wasn't being...

    I tried to contact Ford New Holland and, of course, they are closed on Saturdays. I can't measure the gaskets I installed unless I disassemble the pump. But I did notice those gaskets were thinner than the rest of those in the packaged kit sent by Yesterday Tractors.

    Thanks, Hobo, I followed that link last night just before I went to bed. I finally got what you were trying to tell me. Can you tell me what the measurement is that the chambers need to be apart? Or would installing a second set of the same thin gaskets solve the problem?

    Don't know what you're talking about when you say "thin gasket problem". I purchased the gasket kit from Yesterday's Tractor. The pump goes up into the tractor so the chambers aren't keeping it from going inside the hole. They sure aren't hitting the sides of the opening when I raise the pump...

    Thanks. I did realize that. I can lay a valve chamber on the bench and insert the two pistons and then put the other valve chamber on the other side of the pistons......................so I know I've got that part lined up. I just don't seem to have enough hands to do it inside the pump...
