    Trying to start 9n

I noticed that with the meter checking continuity when I load the shaft it loses it. New bushings readjusted points and she now RUNS.... Hey Bruce thanks. Also what should my Amp meter gauge be reading. I was seeing about 10?

    Trying to start 9n

OK I am going to go back to checking the shaft and weights and other details in that distributor. I am anxious to hear this thing run. I also have a 1946 2N that is next to work as well. Thank you very much for the support.

    1940 Aluminum dash and steering

Hello all, I am new to the site and tractor restoration. I was given a 1940 Ford 9n by my in-laws and it has an aluminum dash and steering column assembly. Is this rare? I have seen the aluminum hoods and it does not have that unfortunately. Just curious how many other guys have them?

    Duracell 6 volt warning

I am restoring a 1940 Ford 9N with a 6 volt "positive ground" system. I just noticed a sticker on the new Duracell 6 volt battery I just purchased. It states: "Not recommended for inverted use" What exactly does that mean?
