    So far I haven't found a source online that carries anything in this size. Just a quick measurement with the digtal calipers gave me 3.1435" dia.

    My local dealer said this is NLA. I'm looking for a R.H. Differential shaft bearing cover part# B189R. I have rust holes in the one on the tractor. My options are find a replacement, salvage a used one, or removed and weld up my existing one. Does anyone know a source for a cup style expansion plug?

    1942 BO Valve stem to guide clearance

    Thanks for the reply. I found a manual that Dad had in a box of other manuals. Its the Tractors and Engines (General) Service Manual SM-2000. It has that chart in it and at the top it says "Ream to" and a line for BR, BO, and BI.

    Thank for the info. Is the Guide Inside Diameter of .377/.376 maximum or ream size of new guides? Looks like the guides on these are installed at the same height, intake and exhaust, unlike the later models?

    John Deere BO/BR drive disc

    Anyone know where to source a drive disc for the early BO/BR tractors. Parts book list the part numbers as AB594R and the old disc has B768R cast into it.

    UTS Heat Riser - Gasket or Not

    I just put a new manifold on my 1956 UTS Special. Wondering if there is a gasket for the Heat riser? I don't see one in my parts book but worry about any water weeping in.

    Thanks for the info. When I did some searching on these mowers I thought those model numbers might be correct but saw other similar mowers that raised some doubts. Do any of these mowers have ID tags or did they have decal or painted on model numbers?
