    Hello everyone, I'm wondering how many miles would a 1947 M get on a full tank in 5th gear before she runs dry? my manual says its a 21 gallon tank and it does have a model 30 loader installed. Any thoughts? just curious. Thank you.

    can a badly cracked engine be repaired successfully

    I've heard of a small block chev having both ends of the crack drilled to prevent the crack from spreading then tapped for fine threaded plugs to close up the holes and JB welded in between. I was told it worked well. But I assume it was in the water jacket.
