    Exhaust manifold sealent

    Hit the go button too soon! P Put the gasket on dry. Make sure the mating surface is clean on both engine block and intake/exhaust manifold.

    Put the gasket on the block first. The studs will hold the gasket in place while you position the exhasust/intake manifold.

    UPDATE - '84 Mustang 2.3L with bad TPS

    Make sure your battery is 100%. Crank engine and make sure fuel pump is pumping fuel. Make sure your sparkplugs are clean and gapped correctly. The once it is running the codes may correct them selves. If not maybe one of the big box autoparts places can reset them for you. Scott

    I would be interested in this, if it would slow down my ground speed but keep my PTO up for use of my rotary mower. would the grears handle rough terrain? ie. mowing trails. Scott

    I just wanted to post back and say thanks for the help. I replaced the points and condenser and put it all back together and it fired right up. If anyone wants I have the new part numbers for NAPA ECHLIN points and condenser. Scott

I can see a burned spot on the points and it does not appear they are opening and or closing when I crank the engine. On my next day off, I'll pull'er apart take a closer look and clean, adjust...

    I finished putting my 1941 9N back together. Front Distributor 6 volt. I do not get a spark. Engine cranks fine. I cleaned the spark plugs, checked the gap. I inspected the distributor cap and found two of the posts were worn so I replaced the cap. I have a full charge on the batt. 6.32 volts...
