Water well Pumps
My question is kind of related. I have a farm with a fairly deep well (60 Ft) way up on a hill with a submergable pump. A pressure tank / new pressure switch in the house basement. We want to water the garden but seem like the pressure drops to where a oscillating sprinkler just stops and sits... -

I hope you got it drained out without turning the engine over. The old guy that had mine got seriously burned when a spark plug caused an explosion while he was standing near the tractor and he rotated the engine We have a small ball valve in the line on the left side before the carburator so...- cleddy

3-jaw chuck assembly instructions needed
Thats exactly how I have done it. Make sure jaws are all the way closed and exactly lined up. A good vice for a press and a big socket that fits over the end of chuck should allow careful pressing. I have to wonder why that small chuck was taken apart & why it wasn't put back together if it's... -

We had a Fairly new WD (At the time in the 60s) and while using it the whole flange of the axle broke off and set the side down on the ground. We always thought if it had happened on the back of a Terrace it would have rolled over and maybe killed my Dad?? That was the Big story for YEARS when...- cleddy

Old coats tire changer HELP
Another big flaw is that 4 ft bar to roll the bead over the rim of the tire has a poor pivot point around the center post of machine that it takes an awful strong man to do it.. -

I bought a Coats tire machine just like in the picture but with Air cylinder to break the Bead on top and bottom. It would probably work on Conventional tires of a Car,Pickup, front tractor from that Era (soft and pliable) but worthless on any modern big fat tire.and fancy rims I bought mine... -

Considering a skid steer...thoughts
I don't know how much the JCB with the side door costs compared to regular Skid Steer but that getting On and Off is a big problem with the big attachments and various uses? I bought a NH Ls-190 and like it but moving Junk, Machinery, or anything where you have to get out to position chains...- cleddy

Grinder Safety Problem
So I put a new 3 conductor grounded cord on the grinder and problem is solved. I did see the black side of the cord went to the motor and not the switch so fixing that further isolates the power. Grinder Safety Problem
Lamps are are bad that way because you can usally plug them in either way putting power to outside of socket instead of center of bulb. It still should be insulated sufficiently to keep user from getting lit up??? -

Missing catalytic converters on a Ford Ranger
Kind of off the subject but will a engine run without a Mass Air flow sensor? I have a 1986 Oldsmobile that I can't get running and blew mine up with using ether. Would like to get it running again? It would not run after neglect and sitting to long?- cleddy

Deere H - Restored with Cultivator (H-109?)
I would like to see a picture of that. I have a fairly original "H" that came with cultivators. I not sure they go with the tractor as someone told me they were 2 row and maybe for a B.
