    Got it figured out. When I used the plastic auger to check clearance, a piece of the paper from wrapper had fallen on the bearing. It was folded and caused enough to tighten it up. Took it off the bearing and is now turning fine. Thanks to everyone and especially to Gary Reif.

    I have 3 different paint colors I am looking at for my 52 8n. Here is a pic of each color. Left is Magic IH, middle is Magic for red, and right is Rustoleum IH. Can anyone tell me which would be the closest to correct?

    PTO handle keeps Disengaging

    Finally get my '50 8N tractor to run and while mowing the PTO handle keeps disengaging. It will engage all the way to the back and doesn't seem difficult to push back. While mowing the PTO will stop and when I check the lever it is in the disengage position. Any thoughts?

    Well, I went back and checked the fuel system again. All filters clear but did find a hairline crack in fuel line. Too small to drip but may have been sucking air. Changed out line and no change, still stalled. Had low flow so I changed out the new filter fuel valve with another new one and...

    I have replaced the spark plugs, and plug wires. Still runs for 5-10 minutes and starts lugging along. Replacing all wires on Friday and will let everyone know.
