    just get a book for 44, only thing that u really need from a 30 book is engine related. just yours still have magneto? transmission and rear are the same for 30/44 any way for the most part. do you have all the brass tags?

    the exhaust manifold is not the same as on a 30, it has a special casting for governor arm to pivot on. a manifold off of a 30 would work but the linkage would have to be changed. as for which model is based on is like mostly a 44 standard chassis, with several different variations. 30 engine...
