    I was thinking that but it is a V belt and the flat side would be against the drive pulley unless I m missing something.

    Looking from the bottom up the blades are turning clockwise as you can see the blades are shiny on the non cutting edge. The motor turns clockwise as well looking at it from the pulley side.

    Thank you for the reply! The motors are connected with the pressure line hooked up to the pressure port on motor. The motor turns in a clockwise direction and the blades need to turn in a counter clockwise direction. Is it possible to twist the belts??

    Bought this mower in excellent condition with all the belts off. I put new belts on it but now the blades turn backwards. Is there anyone who knows about these mowers I can contact? I ve searched the entire internet and only found one post from 2006 and all info on the company is no longer valid.
