    stihl ms 362 chainsaw

we picked one of those up last fall when we killed our 361 and wanted to keep cutting sooner then later. So far haven't had any issue other then the upfront price.

    Farmall 706 transmission no reverse.

A simple key or shift fork broke enough to partially work is what it sounds like to me. check the linkage down to the cover under the platform, if that all looks good pull the platform plate and check around.

    Offset disk not cutting evenly

Try chaining some Dead weight (wheel weights, junk block......) on that side.

    An old lathe

That's a small one. Friend of mine has a larger Oliver lathe that he picked up someplace...Grabbed it because he likes Oliver tractors. I need to dig around to find pictures if someone wants to see it.

Twine Tension coming out of the box

I think our IH47 has that printed on the twine box door....I think it said 8-10 lbs of tension, but yeah feels right is a good base, to tight you end up with the same problem as well (the twine snaps, then runs the knotters out) BTDT.

    Video of the Birdsell

No we don't take it to any shows (especially half way cross the state). mainly being its to hard to transport something this size, at around 20ft long and likely 10 tall. Second we don't save hay over for seed very often either.

    Video of the Birdsell

I know the 8's have the No 8 on the frame crossing under the feeder, I recall seeing a smaller 6 at an auction once that to was marked with a stenciling there.... might be worth checking to see if still there be interesting to know whats out there yet. I know two 8's here, the one in the vid and...

    Video of the Birdsell

Its operation basically comes down to a beat and shake separate system. It separates the seed from the straw/hay. Works much like a more common threshing machine (or modern combine) used for say wheat. The difference is that a huller has a second cylinder in it to break the seed clumps(called...

    Video of the Birdsell

Back in June we got the huller out to play with. I took a few videos and mashed em together. I was thinking of taking the vids and some pictures and give them to the local farm museum but didn't get there yet. Any way heres the video. Birdsell in action

We use that system to bale behind an IH 47. the chute we have can hold two bales, one flat one up the incline. ours is set to just about the height of the wagon deck give or take a couple inches, and to with in about 4-6 inches to edge. turning away from the pick up we kick the chute up to...

Can a Farmall B jump time

ok so we worked on another tractor near by it and left the plug wrench on the hood of the B. I forgot to grab the wrench when done with other. I had time when I went back for the wrench so I pulled the 1st plug and spun it over to compression, I couldn't see the TDC pointer (to dark in that...
