    1970 Chevy C10 pick up restoration.

    Hi I read that you want to put a multi-port engine in a 1970 pick-up. You do realize that you have to also install the wire harness and when it comes to the fuel tank, you could use one from a Blazer or Jimmy.     Repowering question

    The block is aluminum and the seat isn't. The seat gets loose and leaks between the seat and block thus low or no compression. A machine shop can get an oversized seat and cut the seat opening in the block and install a new seat. Make sure they peen that seat in there too.
