    Gelled diesel question

I had winter blend delivered last time, plus I always put in treatment. Had issues with Power Service white bottle years ago, so I've been using Howes. I had more than recommended in the tank. It was -30 the other night, tractor died shortly after starting. Looked at the filter, yep, goop...

    Best commuter car

Seems ridiculous to have to do, but you could buy one tire and have it shaved for not too much to match the rest if there's enough of a difference, instead of buying the set. I need a road vehicle for hospital/doctor runs. Pickup is too high without getting some kind of ramp or something every...

round bale size in your area ?

5x6, been many years since I've seen anything else, driving 100 miles in any direction and beyond. No big squares either. Never seen a square baler sitting at the dealer, and it's been about 15 years since I've seen anything that did smaller than a 5x6 at the dealers around. One neighbor...

    Best commuter car

I'm not a fan of "cars", not that useful. Ford is only making a model or two of them now. I like something AWD/4x4. My '18 Escape is what I have for a road vehicle, it's creeping to around 30mpg, bit over at times, overall average. It's 30 miles to town at 65mph with no slowdowns and only...

Old loader, arms only go up, not down

The return was missed, don't recall seeing it, since the bucket was working correctly I guess I assumed the valve plumbing itself was ok and just looked at the cylinder plumbing mostly. It was mounted very close to the tank, might have been mounted to it. And I didn't see an obvious name on...

Same line, yes, tried to explain in the drawing, and other post.

Old loader, arms only go up, not down

I'm thinking that, bucket works strong. Main thing I didn't know if that type of valve had an adjustment for the "not power/release", like a flow control for the release, other than not pulling the lever all the way, if anyone understands what I'm saying.

Old loader, arms only go up, not down

Not quick connectors. Yes, I just mentioned the bucket so for sure everything is right concerning that "side", hydraulics working, etc.

Old loader, arms only go up, not down

Drawing, there are two of each cylinder depicted. Top depicts bucket cylinders. Both hoses go to valve. Bucket cylinders, only the lift/extend side goes to the only connector on the valve. The other side is "open", to air, just a return line back to the top of the reservoir, assuming that's...

Old loader, arms only go up, not down

I don't know all the details. I stopped by one day (40 miles away), and had about 5 minutes to look at it, and I was in my "good" clothes. My uncle bought an 8n with a loader. He got it home, and replaced a couple hoses, one at a time he said (he's not a farmer/rancher, lives in the...

Software to back up a smart phone to a computer

External backup, more than one for important things, not always connected to the computer, is a good idea. Plus cloud backup. "Bad as computers are to crash" I haven't had a "crash" in many years, over 10 for anything, even a "freeze". I assemble my own desktops every 5-7 years, and they...

    O.T. computer Windows version

10 should perform at least similar to 7 (or 8), I've seen it be a bit faster, but of course a lot of variables. I'd just start with what you have. Plenty of ram, I'd upgrade to an SSD if it isn't already, they are relatively cheap.

windows 7 windows 10 and older computers

Lower left hand corner, click start/the window button. Start typing Thunderbird. It should be up to the top, result, if it isn't, then somehow it was uninstalled. Click on it. While it is running, put the mouse over the area on the taskbar/bottom bar where it says thunderbird, press the...

windows 7 windows 10 and older computers

Personal use, I use something different too. I was just thinking about ~some that would think about trying it out, probably wouldn't know what a repository is, or that they would need to enable one in order for certain things to work (or work better). Pretty simple to add/change stuff, but not...
