    Who manufactured the 3.6l diesel for Case's 90 series tractor? I've seen it called both a Case and a David Brown engine. Pretty sure it was not a CDC engine (sim to a Cummins 4B) but just wondering how it compares. I've come up on a 1390 for sale. Thanks

    Tafe 35DI Idle Problem

    My Tafe 35DI cranks and runs but doesn't want to idle. RPM fluctuates and I have to choke off the intake to shut it down (it wants to run away on me). Oil reservoir on injection pump is full. Its been sitting a while, so I suspect the IP has an issue. Simpson diesel engine, Mico injection pump.

    AC B Engine Overhaul

    Fixin to have my B's engine rebuilt. I'd like to increase power, but I've read where there isn't much you can do - just porting the intake valves and using a D15 governor spring. Any thoughts?

    B Model Engine

    Thanks for the replies. Wilson Ind, you are correct. I'm not restoring, just refurbishing. I may rethink the engine swap though, even if they are interchangeable. I've tried other lubricants (WD40, PB blaster, etc) to loosen it up, but not ATF. I will give that a try.

    MH 55 Engine

    That is a relief. It is a wet sleeve engine. My concern came from the mechanic who looked at it - he thought the crack had to be repaired, but I'm not sure he is familiar w/Continental. I"ll post a pic this weekend. Thanks
