Yes there is a short chain hooked to the stop cable. I am sure that it goes all the way to the stop knob on the injector pump. I have used my hand to move the lever and it doesnt make a difference. Would screwing in the stop knob a little help?- Cpw

This tractor starts and runs great but I seem to have an issue with the engine stop knob. There seems to be two idle settings, a normal slow and one with a very slight elevation (both with the same throttle position). If the tractor is in the slow speed the engine will stop with the cable. If...- Cpw
