    Under ground water line.

You can get a leak detector. Basically a big stethoscope and you listen for the water/bubbles. If you can hook an air compressor to it you can really here the bubbles. There are companies that will do it as well. My buddy bought one off Amazon for not a lot. Found the leak within 3 inches of...

    1952 john deere a questions ??

Most have pipe plugs in them. On my late B had to get brass valves installed so the starter could turn it over with higher compression. I think they were just 1/8inch valves. Might be larger on an A.

    Frost-free hydrants

Make sure you install a valve so you can shut the water off near the hydrant then you dont have to turn off the entire system to do maintenance on the hydrant. When you buy the hydrant get the rebuild kit at the same time and put it on the shelf. Depending on the hydrant mostly Chinese made...

Massey 1105 hasnt run in 20 plus yrs

From the research I have done the Perkins used not so good oil rings. My 1105 smokes while sitting at idle. Goes away once you start working it but comes back when you throttle down. Not fuel, rebuilt pump by dieseltech. Tried seafoam didn't change any thing. Its starts at 14 degrees in about 4...

Hooking up a gooseneck to a crew cab pickup

    3020 clutch

I got the assembled clutch from ft Wayne clutch . I think it was $800 or so when I did mine. Could be cheaper to rebuild all off it but I usually have to weigh the cost vs time down. It came with everything including the alignment tool. Pack the old one up and UPS picks it up for the core.

    3010 LP shut-off valves

Abilene machine has new valves and adapters for the rods. I ordered one for the vapor side. Hold on they were pricey. But the valve is a standard gas valve they left the part number on. It's about $25, if you by the valve from a different supplier. You will have to by the adapters to attach the...

    Stanadyne Roosa Master Injection Pump

I agree contact dieseltech. He has rebuilt 4 for me and probably 4 friends I referred. As long as the shaft isn't broken the cost is very reasonable.

730 LP converter (vaporizer) leaking coolant

My local propane dealer had the kit to rebuild one on a 3010. Try to find a dealer that has been around a long time. You also might try a forklift dealer repair shop.

    JD 3010 reinstalling engine.

The pto clutch disk floats in the pressure plate. When you pull the alignment tool out it will drop down. You should be able to push it back up from underneath. Double check alignment of traction disk.
