    The neutral safety switch should be a ground for you solenoid. The solenoid will not work till it is grounded by that switch.     Massey 230 fuel filer replacement

    I have a new filter for my 230 but never changed it before. Is there anything I need to do to fill the filter or prime the tractor after changing filters. I'm kinda new to this tractor and don't want to have problems with air in the lines. any recommendations are appreciated.

    WC Shift Handle Removal

    Got that right Joe, BTDT on my 35WC. Somewhere along the line I lost the side lock-out pin on one of the shift rails too and ended up stuck in 2 gears a couple times till I took it back apart and realized the lock-out was missing.     Firing Order 1948 B Allis Chalmers

    Rotation CAN be off from this and the engine will run, IF the distributor or Mag isn't set right to TDC of #1 cylinder. If any 2 wires are switched, you WILL have a miss and the engine won't run right.

    The valve I have IS open center. I don't need power beyond as I have another port available on the diverter valve if I want to run something else. I still don't see an easy way to "dump" the return line from my remote spool without goin in the fill hole.

    I have a Freeman loader I just took off the 8N and it's going on the 230 Massey. I had to make brackets for the 8N 30 years ago when I got the loader, won't need the extra for the Massey.

    That hole is a weep hole and there should be nothing in there but dust from your brakes wearing.

    You need inner oil seals( AGCO part #70217873) on the axle . The AGCO parts book shows the assembly and lists this part number for Tractor numbers ending with S.

    I have a Massey 230 I want to added remote for lifting a planter and maybe a wheel disc. I have ordered a 3 way divertor to replace the cover plate.
