    We have a Tri-Trac model 917.59101, serial number 1298. From what little I can find of other people posting SN in the 2000s and being identified as 1954, I'm wondering if this one is from the first year of production in1953? Or maybe an early 1954? Thanks for any help on this.

    Thanks. This helps a lot. I now know for sure I'm looking at the right plate. As the picture shows, it has been rusty and scraped to reveal the numbers so all the other information is gone.
