    The 311B was originally was positive ground; as a matter of fact, just about ALL 6v systems (both tractor and automotive) were positive ground.

    Tillotson YC2B Carburetor

    Does anyone have or know where I can obtain a kit for a Tillotson YC2B carburetor? This carb is orginal equipment to a 1949 B.F. Avery Model A tractor.

    No, it was a local buy.(North Carolina) From what I've been able to find out, the engine is a IXB-3 Hercules, will know for sure when I receive a shop manual which I've just ordered from YT.

    Am going to take delivery of a B F Avery Model A this evening. Now what I need is a source of parts, specificly a rear crankshaft seal, an oil pan gasket, and a set of brake bands. Any help?
