    DC PTO

    Adjustment is too tight on your clutch. PTO is not live so it keeps running much easier than the tractor will move. If you put tractor in gear and engage pto it will stop rotating. Obviously the tractor will drive away if you push the clutch lever in, and the pto will rotate.

    So, facing off 0.100 from a "fresh" gas head is reliable? I am looking to just cheat in farm stock, this sounds like a good way to gain some compression.

    CC Rear Axle Hub

    Are the wheels still on, or can you install the wheels? Loosen all the bolts and drive around carefully, that was the only way my D hubs came loose.

    Recognize this Case?

    I have that exact plow, I pull it with my hopped up dc-4 and my D. I have really hard clay, and only tickle the ground with the front tires in 2nd gear. A 801 should pull it in any ground.

    What was the first Case tractor you drove, and how old were

    4-5 years old, dad would block wood along fence lines and put the 1950 DC-4 in 1st gear with me steering, at end of field I would turn around and let him catch up. By 11 years old I was running 700 standard diesel hauling manure, 930 row crop pulling chopper boxes, and all the SC and DC"s moving...

    18.4 x 26 BF Goodrich very cheap and common around these parts. I am afaid the extra weight is going to push me into 6,000lbs for pulling.......
