    MF135 Experienced Pre-Purchase Help/Advice

On the milky fluid under the rear end it’s common on those to have the rubber boots on the shifters crack and let water in. Check to be sure the 3 point hitch works correctly this will tell you if the pump inside the transmission is working. If it was operated in cold weather with milky fluid...

    New to-me A-C model B

That’s not the original style hydraulic valve or pump. The original were mounted under the seat and pto driven. Looks like a well thought out addition to the tractor though and probably handier than the original.

Book rate to inframe a wd45 engine?

Just a update on this post ended up doing the job for $50/hr plus parts cost. Surprisingly the aunts boyfriend was both happy with the results and what it cost. I prefer doing that kind of work in my barn with my tools but this messy project turned out ok. Even fixed the wiring on the tractor...

Book rate to inframe a wd45 engine?

I have in fact pulled the pan. See my comment about the condition of the bearings. If the block was cracked I wouldn’t even consider touching this project since the fellow insists on it being repaired at his place instead of mine and that handicaps my ability to pull the motor since this is his...

I’m fully aware my aunt will be the one paying me for the repairs it’s just I don’t want to see her throw all of her money away on his mess of a farm(she has several...

    Identify implement

Can anyone identify this implement? All I know about it is the picture was taken at my great great grandparents sawmill in northern Michigan. They did farm too but I don’t know if this was for farming. It reminds me of a spike tooth drag but much heavier.
