    Case Ingersol 222

I don't know whether you can still get it or not, but when I wanted to reline the brake band on my John Deere 60 garden tractor, I went to my Agco dealer, and they had a really good parts man, and he brought out some lining, I think, for an AC tractor, maybe a WD or WC. I cut it lengthwise...

John Deere LX255 charging light on

Thanks to all for your help! I knew someone on here would know. I've got that module ordered from my JD dealer, they were out. Should be here Monday afternoon. I'll let you know how it turns out. Irv (I think I answered this once and it didn't show up, so if it comes up twice, you'll know why)

    Today's funny

These were a hoot. I had a pretty normal day till now, but now I'm going to laugh the rest of the day. Well, here's mine. My son and I many years ago, go to look for a car for him. (He 51 so you know it's been a while) I had a 94 Chevy worktruck with a 5 speed. I let him drive to let him get...

John Deere LX255 charging light on

Anyone have a light on the charging system that they can't get to shut off? Background: 2000 JD LX255, Kohler CV15S-41571. Good battery. Checked and cleaned posts. Checked and cleaned terminals on voltage regulator and wire connector. With the engine running, 14.4 volts with a good digital...

    somone shot my house

Ah, but we do have! Since 2017 you're allowed to used straight wall cartridges in a rifle, that were legal to use in a pistol or revolver. That goes clear up to a 45-70. The maximum length is 1.800, but the .375 Winchester, .444 Marlin, and 45'70 Winchester were grandfathered in. They also have...

    HiLift Jack---

I agree with rustyfarmall. Periodic cleaning a lubrication with a non stick lube of some kind will keep them running. I would have to agree, they are a tricky bugger to use. I really don't like the loose, floppy foot base on them. Seems to me that one with a tight base from side to side, and...

Oh yea, I see...... the OP still has the hydraulic cylinder on his lift, just an air operated hydraulic pump. Those are awesome units. We had those at work on our hydraulic lift tables. An oiler in the air line to run them, an they would last for years.

I'm glad it works for you, but I'm very surprised it has enough power to lift much of anything. You don't say what size of air cylinder you got, but as a comparison of square inches on the cyl piston, at, let's say, 150# air to 2000# hydraulic, you see it takes a much bigger cyl to do the same...

    JD LX178 lawn mower

I don't think they would have too much pressure. There's really not much you can do to goof up anything inside there. Float's non-adjustable and solid plastic, never saw a bad one. Can't imagine it would help, but you might take a Q-tip and with the tinyest amount of metal polish, try and polish...

    JD LX178 lawn mower

Just went through that same thing with one of my LX178's. Cleaned carb first, still had gas running out, bad fuel pump. New pump, then carb leaked gas again. The carb on mine has a spring loaded leeeeetle tiny needle and the smallest particle makes it leak. Took it off and cleaned it again...
