    No, it was doing the same thing with the old starter. Sounds like we need to pull the starter and see what's going on in there. It will take us a bit to do that.

    Looking for ideas as to what might be wrong with our 1960 IH 340 Utility, 6 volt When we try to start it, we just get a growl and the engine doesn't turn over. We can let it roll downhill or pull it and pop the clutch and it runs fine. We have replaced the starter and tried a different battery...

    We have a IH 340 Utility Tractor with a marvel schebler carburetor that need to be replaced. Our question is, should we replace it with a marvel schebler or is there a better option? Thank you!

    1960's IH Utility Tractor Radiator needs repair

    This is one of the two cushions(blocks). We have it all pretty much back together and nothing seems to be rubbing on the radiator so we are just not sure where they were. In hindsight, should have took a few pictures!

    Yes we got it out today, there were two bolts left in the bottom that were easy to remove! We found a radiator tech who still does the old metal one he says it can be fixed! Thanks!!
