    Replacing Solenoid on JD 316 Lawn tractor

    my 318(with onan engine) solenoid is under the battery box...i think all 300 series put them in the same place.remove battery and tray to access.yours may have the kholer engine.

    How to get off surface rust on a machine tool?

    unless the metal part of the retainer on the board is broken,you can just replace the keys...they just pop off and the new will snap back on.just take your time and do it carefully.ive changed a few off them without much hassle.as far as changing keyboard,my dell has a plastic cover that pops...

    i had this happen on my boat trailer.turned out to be the valve core in the stem .loosened it half turn and retightened.no problem since.

    david brown 1200 selectomatic w/ a allied front end loader. i was 6 at that time summer of '75,i drove while dad and brother loaded hay on the wagon.

    you can probaly have it ground and rechromed.most machine shops or your local dealer/mechanic shop can get it done for you.
