    Massey Ferguson 451 - Running Issues

    I too have a 451 with a similar problem and am suspecting the solenoid after replacing filters, blowing out lines, etc. Check the electrical connector on the fuel pump. Mine had somehow lost its retaining clip and it only has to lift by a 16th or so to break contact.
