    Hole is for the tank vent. Line thru hole with grub screw inside the line. Line goes out hole in rf of the air box (under fuel fitting of the carb) if no hole there it is an early model. Drill one. Sheet meta screw in end of the line to keep dirt out.

    Case splits at the crankshaft. Four bolts i think. Crank rod and piston then can be pulled from cylinder. That is a chrome cylinder, dont try to hone it.     This tractor pulls 4500 to 8500 as seen in the pic. It is not plowing on a hillside. Dont cut into the stiffner ring near the wheel weight holes and it will be fine. Make sure your cuts are smooth with a good radius to keep them from cracking. Duane in Ohio
