    Today I drove the d4.into the shop where I'm going to work on it. As it was idling, I pulled the clutch compartment cover off and noticed that when I engage the clutch, the oil funnel/yoke assembly shook pretty bad.     Yes, I have adjusted the clutch a number of times. The locking bolt is secure. I can't seem to get it to snap the way it should, never did. Either too tight and hard to engage, or too loose and lever disengaged by itself..

    Thanks for the reply. I must confess, I'm no certified mechanic by any means.. As far as the pines on cams, and links, I imagine those are components of the cam assembly that moves the pressure plate to the disc? In which case, no, I didn't check those things..

    I bought a 1954 d4 7u series dozer and have a blade on it. It has been the most important piece of equipment I own as I live close to a river and have a ring dike to maintain.
