    case 1570 remote pressure

    Simple test to make sure plumbing is correct. Unpin the cylinder from the implement and make sure you can move it back and forth with the tractor. If you cannot move it with no weight on it, a larger cylinder won't help. Dave

    I have always felt if you clean all of the sludge and grime out of the engine first, it would be fine (and maybe better) to switch to a detergent oil.

    D-19 Traction Boost / Make-up Oil

    Thanks. That was the first thing that I checked. I then unhooked the linkages and manually held the valves in the position that should stop the traction boost and make-up oil. Just for fun, I even tried every combination of valve positions and the hitch did not stop rising.

    We have a 18-32 with an oil level float, but the float and rod are missing. Can someone tell us how far from the top of the pan the oil is when it is full? Our pan does not have oil level plugs on the side. We are going to be running it in a parade this weekend and would really like to have...

    That number does not match the original 7 serial numbers listed by dctom. Do you know if the build card says "changed to CH style"?
