Filler cap on transmission
Joe, the late Ns were bayonette type (like a gas cap). The screw in type came in 53.- Dave N FL

OT Storms kickin now.. got wind.. got rain!
Ponte Vedra Beach (between Jax and St Augustine) Today (Fri) was worst day. Winds 45 w/gusts 75. Rain last 48 hrs near 11 in. Expect more tomorrow and Sunday. Some light damage ... trees etc. 21 yr old girl drowned at Neptune Beach yesterday .. about 8 mi from here. Overall, real wet and...- Dave N FL

So how long have you had an N ?
Bought first 8N about 1990 while living in Cartersville, Ga. Then transfered to Macon and had to sell it. Eventually, after trying for 15 yrs to buy my uncle's 51 8N (he bought new from the Ford Tractor dealer in Douglas, GA), I did buy it in 2002. Rick, most folks on the forum say you can paint them any color you want .... it's your tractor. Do a search of the archives here, and you'll get a lot of opinions. Eastwood Co. makes a good cadmium paint in a spray can. I think Krylon may have a similar "color". Good luck.- Dave N FL
