    I want to checkout the valves ect inside the casing. Is it asdvisable to pull off the back plate by the battery box?     Awesome, thank you. I will try filing them down first. Is there a specific type of points and condensor I need or are they pretty much the same? I know some stuff with repairs but this has always been difficult for me to diagnose.
