    New Holland or Massey Ferguson?

Well, Mike, now I'm hearing that the Workmaster, being an economy class tractor, has a weaker tranny than the Boomer series. The Massey is not in the economy class, so I'm still leaning toward red. And guess what? Massey came down that "G" I mentioned earlier, so it's pretty much a done deal---I...

    New Holland or Massey Ferguson?

Will do Mr. Wile E. The offer so far has the MF at $3100 less. All we're getting is a bucket for now. If the MF were another G lower, it would be done already. Will let you know in a couple of hours.

    New Holland or Massey Ferguson?

Thanks Chuck. The thing that the Workmaster (new) has that the MF(used 113hrs) does not is a 5yr powertrain warranty.

I have not seen an LS around here, Upstate NY. I think I'm leaning toward the MF. Dave

    New Holland or Massey Ferguson?

I read you loud and clear on the value concept. It's just that "okay" is carried by the dealers within easy reach, so I'm trying to get a handle on which tractor is okay-er.

    New Holland or Massey Ferguson?

Hey Guys, I am going to buy either a NH Workmaster35 or a MF 1529 (28hp). Light chores will be done for the most part...firewood, moving stone, plowing drive. Any suggestions concerning which might be the better choice? Regards, daverh
