    MF 470 Wheel Loader

We have a MF 470 wheel loader- riged frame, single center arm, Continental 6 cyl in line gas engine. Think it is the same as a Michigan Wheel loader? See link for a similar unit that sold at an auction last year. Need a bendix spring. Only marking I have is the starter is a delco remy 1107851...

AC Mfg Co. company safety shoe store pullman sleeper

This may be better suited to the other AC form. There is a photo of the AC MFG Co safety shoe store care here. http://ingenweb.org/inlaporte/lpcityphotos.htm Im reasonably sure thats a surplus Pullman troop sleeper. What Im wondering, is was it kept pullman green? Im thinking the...

Ford 801 D cable through hood-how to remove handle

Working on neighbors Ford 801 D. Missed placed our shop manual for that model. So whale ordering another, trying to get hood off. There's a cable that goes to the transmission (not the Select o Speed) need to take off handle. Seams there is a set screw, assume it's just that not actually...

Ford NH 1715 no hi range, weak middle

What is the hi-med-lo system called? And dose it have its own transmission clutch, secondary the engine clutch? Tractor is ok in med and low range, but high range, it cant hardly move itself.

Ford NH 1715 no hi range, weak middle

I don't think it's its a hydro-it has a gear shift. The transmission oil is full, with a cheap hydraulic oil. Other symptom we have on it is it's a loader tractor, loader won't lift front end off the ground. Our next steps are to change the filter (it looks old) and get a set of manuals.

Ford NH 1715 no hi range, weak middle

Got a Ford NH 1715, cant even pull itself in hi range, not the best on middle, ok in low, bought that way. Any recommendations on what to check or what might be wrong?

    MF 205-4

I posted about a neighbors 205-4 being hard to steer. Took apart left front today-bearigns are shot. Particularly 3281457M1, should have 105 balls, lucky if we have 5. Am I correct, 3281457M1 is stupid expensive, only one I see is $425?

    Repose ring a Farmall M

Dad actually started putting a IHC 304 in a Super M (based on Rear end/casting #'s. SN plate is gone, front end is from an M) 15+ years ago, for much the same reasons-had a tractor with locked up engine, and a very low mileage IHC 304. His plan is/was to use the tractor clutch/pressure plate...

MF 135 3 cyl perkins lost prime plenty of gas

Haven't gotten back to the 205 yet. Ended up with a different neighbors MF 135 with 3cyl Perkins. When, started ran, then it died. Had 7 gallons of fuel in it. Only way we got it going again was to blead the lines per the book-starting at the lift pump to the filter, then the injector pump to...

Massey 205 4wd hard to steer

neighbors Massy 205, Sn #1, 4wd is a bear to steer. Has no power steering. Has a loader, took loader off makes no difference. Could the bearings be going out causing it to be hard to steer?

    Computer Drafting Program anyone?

For free (personal) use, I use sketchup (believe google sold it). At work, I use AutoCAD. If it wasnt so pricy, Id probably only use it.

Massey Harris? Color and back of hood remind me of some of theirs. Hard to tell without the grill.
