Odd paddles on the rear wheels.

You can get something like those new here in NZ for working on hill country.

Looking at a Ford 3910, need some advice please…

My advice is be very very careful on hills especially if you don't have any tractor experience. The number of experienced people that have rolled tractors on hills is not funny. 4wd is very useful. Coming down hills the front wheels will be able to help provide traction. Also going up if it's...

    O rings?

Could you try a quad/x ring? It gives two sealing edges and both edges are in different places to an o-ring so seal better. They generically common in standard sizes. Also worth looking if a metric oring might fit better?

    Homemade Weight Box

Do you have access (or know anyone with) cattle load bar scales sort of like these? My set can weigh 2000Kg = 4400lbs

    Bench grinder woes

Check that it can turn freely by hand. The switch on my grinder burnt out when I accidentally had the guide touching the grinding wheel.

    Mccormick 46 Baler knotter upgrade

Thanks for the above info. I'll pass it on to my friend and see if he needs anything else. In New Zealand we don't have huge selection of these older balers so beggars can't be choosy.

    Mccormick 46 Baler knotter upgrade

I think the purpose is mainly interest sake but I think the current knotter isn't working either. Does the non caseIH conversion kit work well?

Hi Does anyone know if All-Twine conversion manual is still available anywhere? I've got a friend interested in trying to convert his 47.

Has anyone used this to paint tractor

I think with those cheaper guns you need to thin the paint down. I've used a Wagner paint gun (doesn't need the paint thinned) that looks similar to paint my tractor mud guards. It did a brilliant job. I was very happy with it.

    AWD?

According to this article it can be turned off: https://www.torquenews.com/1083/2023-cadillac-xt5-sport-awd-get-all-options I wouldn't expect any sound difference with AWD enabled. In both 2wd and AWD all four wheels are turning just not the transfer case & extra two diffs, If you haven't used...

Birds nesting in Tractor and pooing on it

Unfortunetly, that doesn't really help. I pull all the bird netting out and use the tractor but it will be back the next day when you go to use it. I could understand it if I didn't use it for a month but overnight is just painful.

Birds nesting in Tractor and pooing on it

If it was just under the seat I wouldn't worry. But it on top of the engine and in the fan. And the poo is everywhere.

Birds nesting in Tractor and pooing on it

What's everyones ideas to stops birds nesting in my tractor and pooing all over it? I park my tractor in an open shed and it's always getting pooed on. And currently the birds are busy building nests in it. I just pulled all the nesting material out yesterday and it's basically all back today...
