    I can't seem to find anyone that sells 4 rib tires size 6x16. I have looked EVERYWHERE and can't find one. I'm trying to match one that is like new. It has no manufacturer marks on it, but says front tire, tube type, 6.00x16.00 and its 4 rib. Any suggestions on where to find something similar?

    Dollarbill, it has fresh gas and I'm running autolite 437's. The carb has plenty of suction, just seems like it needs a lot of choke or my hand over the intake to get it started. I have adjusted the jets according to the manual along with a few different combinations, but still cuts out and...

    Got home from work and tried a few of the suggestions from here. Firing order is correct, compression is 100# on every cylinder. Is there anything else I can check on it?

    I did rebuild the carb when I did the engine rebuild. The points are gapped at .015. When I get off tonight I will check on the 3-4 spark plug.

    Rustyfarmall, thanks for the info. After you install the bushing in it, is there enough room for the shaft seal in behind it? Doesn't look like there would be enough room for all that. I will get the bushing and do some measuring.

    After looking at the bushing at just 8ns, I think it goes in the 3/8 hole where the seal goes. I will findout from them if it does need to be drilled out or pressed in where the seal is. The hole is stepped down from 3/8 to 1/4. Just the 1/4 hole is egg shaped. Maybe I can find me a bushing that...
