    replaced old gov.with new replacement. got the tdc ok. engine runs but when advancing speed .no change in engine speed. i used to be able to check distributer point timing using continuity tester. have forgotten what part of tester to clip on to dist. and see when rotating it tester lights...

    have replaced govenor. new from YT. govenor does not ENGINE SPEED. and i forgot how to time(no magneto) distributer using test light. any help??
