    Thanks everyone for the replies to my rough running/dying tractor. I noticed my ammeter always to the negative when tractor is running, dies after twenty minutes or so.     I'll check the points gap, I know there is a specific gap that I read I the book. I did check when I installed new points but ill definitely check again
