Case 580B backhoe dipper cylinder
Good evening jtwat: Well, today I "broke down" and took the dissembled dipper cylinder to my "favorite" Case dealer for him to continue disassembly, (removing the 1-1/8" rod bolt), and reassembling the unit. I had already disassembled the cylinder, cleaned it up and bought the new seal kit...- ddwarren1

Thanks Dune: I guess I'll have to do this....sometimes I just won't give up. I've rebuilt/fixed several pieces of equipment over the years and most of the time I'm successful. But then there are those days.- ddwarren1

Case 580B backhoe dipper cylinder
Good morning everybody....I'm an 80+ year old man who is in trouble repairing the dipper cylinder on my 1974 Case 580B backhoe. I got the cylinder off the hoe, the cylinder disassembled, a new seal kit on hand, BUT can't get the 1-1/8" rod bolt out. I have tried everything. I only have a 800...- ddwarren1
