    new rebuilt Marvel TSX 33 carb causing no throttle response? 9N with 8N engine

    IF the throttle shaft was replaced, check the ball where the governor rod attaches. Had one the ball was just a little too big and gave that same problem. Ended up reinstalling the original throttle shaft and it worked fine.

    That hole is used during manufacture to allow access to drill the idle port that is directly across from it. It needs to be plugged.
