    We did add bars on the roller on a 535 and it was a little too aggressive. I would try welding a bead clear across the roll on the bars that are there . Ours had round stock on the roller the newer ones have square stock

    The factory mount has a twist in it going from the shank up to the trash board. I’m in ground hard enough I’ve broke two trash boards off this fall not the bracket just the board

    also make sure you give the heads a couple good raps while you are tightening and make sure you draw them all the way tight

    I think after a million acres and 60 years they get wore out especially in the rocky ground . I’ve got a couple here that have a half inch of slop beteeen the standard and the piece that it bolts to.
