Silo update
That is really disappointing. One thing to remove the trees, but a landmark?? The younger generations will never understand what things like that mean to the community. Get the number off the valve. I think I have literature to confirm open or closed center. How to secure empty hitch?
For the purpose stated here yes. All equipment is expensive. But if you must know it is considerably cheaper to maintain my JD over my NH. And not “a” JD. 5 JD, 1 NH, 1 IH. 55hp-180- deere4040

How to secure empty hitch?
Bungee cord on all mine. Includes 4430/4040/2350. Heavy duty 21” 2 per tractor. Holds the arms solid whether in cat 1 or 2 setting. Easy to take off and store in toolbox. Twine is a pain and never used. Ratchet strap is cumbersome and tail if not stored properly for the pto to catch. 3pt...- deere4040

Zahm & Matson and Gallup & Tenhaken now Landpro are my 2 JD dealers. All my dealers are NY as they are closer. It can be difficult but then there are times when drying hay is to easy. Teff is a hard crop. Did it once. Timing is critical, it goes from good to see fast and if a hard rain it's on the ground flat. The next cutting of Millet I hope makes it to frost. Want it more mature. Hopefully doesn't get to mature by mid October and we freeze. then it can dry in the field. If...- deere4040

Cleaned off, moved, and fertilized for the next round. 535 square, 39 1st cutting 4x4, 6 2nd cutting 4x4 Approx. 20 acres left of 1st cutting to do. Poor rake is getting tired. A previous weld repair cracking again. Really need to upgrade. Yield so poor only needed to make 2 trips...- deere4040
