    5 speed shifter

    My 5 speed was frozen. Got it freed up with 50-50 atf and acetone mixed in oil can so I could apply directly to rust spots. Drained old oil, put in 8 quarts diesel, magnet in the drain plug, drove around ranch for a bit to warm it up. Drained diesel and found woodruff key on magnet. Refiled with...

    Front tires on loader

    Need to replace front tires on Ford 851 with Wagner loader. Tires are 6.50-16, 6 ply and rated load of 1610 lbs. Local tire stores, two of them, that deal in truck and tractor tires say they can get the 6.50-16, 6 ply with 1200 lbs load. I am thinking that 1200 lb load is not enough with...

    Tony, Thank You for the info. I knew this tractor was a hybrid?, didn't know it was made up of at least 3 different units. On the loader, the plate is still there, looks to have been mostly inked, with only a small amount of stamping into the plate at the very bottom: WF 3 FF 5656. DenisW
