    Cost of disk

    baler belts

    I will be needing to replace belts on my 557 Deere baler and found a add for belts from Stewarts Distributing in Sherman Texas. Way more reasonable than price from local dealer. Question is has anyone had dealings with these folks and your thoughts on them please. Thanks

    John Deere Drill

    Not ever owning a drill always rented but now am looking at a John Deere Van Brunt Model B drill. Will it work in established grass for interseeding Brome and fescue in a pasture. Drill is selling pretty reasonable and thought this might be worth having and trying if it works in grass. Thanks

    256 rake gearbox update

    Just had my gearbox on my 256 rebuilt. Rake was to good to do anything different. Cost was $700.00 and change and 2 hours labor. Was told to put cornhead grease in. 4 tubes and run it and then add one more. Hoping for lots of acres out of it.

    Question for the cattle men

    Load her up with meds and take a old pair of denim jeans and cut big patches and glue them over her eyes. Keep those eyes in the dark. Leave her in a small pen with another calf and let those eyes heal if it is a pink eye. The glue can be bought at vetenary supplies store. Patch will fall off...
