    Shop interior wall material

I spent a lot time researching the subject and ended up doing the ceiling in steel and the walls in 7/16" OSB. I went with the metal ceiling just in case the roof leaks or sweats onto the ceiling. OSB and constant moisture don’t mix well. I went with the OSB on the walls for a number of...

wireless internet access from another location

My neighbor and I use the tin can method. He has the internet access at his house and sends the signal over via the antenna which concentrates the signal and gives it direction. It's cheap and works well. We're almost 1 mile apart. Here's a link to one of the many on the subject...

    Palmer Fossum Auction

Made it out to the Palmer Fossum auction today. It was a muddy mess, but it was fun to see all the rare and unique stuff all in one spot. The prices were sky high for anything rare. The common tractors were resonably priced. The 3 bottom disc plow shown in the picture brought $1750. The 6 Cyl...

    round balers

I use a Vermeer 504G that makes 4x5 bales behind my Farmall 560D which is about the same horsepower of your Ford. It handles it with ease. My land is flat so I'm not lugging full chambers up hills. That tends to suck up the HP.

    Tractor Restoration business

Give it a shot. Remember that Bill Gates dropped out of college to start Microsoft and a lot of other successful businesses were started by guys like you who are passionate about something and took a risk based on that passion. If you don't try it, you'll always have the "what ifs." You're...

    NH 785 Skidloader

We been feeding the cows with our 785 since '91 when we bought it new. The engine and hydraulic system have not required any repairs. Ours has a Ford 3 Cyl engine. I like it because it develops a lot of power at low idle so there's no need to have it wide open all the time like the Bobcats...

    3 PT Ballast box

My old neighbor torched a couple of holes through a 55 gal. drum and welded in a 3pt drawbar. A top link connection was welded to the barrel as well for stability. He then filled the barrel with concrete and painted it to match his tractor. It worked well on his 8n. I think he had the barrel...
